I’m so glad that you have made it over to my little blog. I’d love to tell you a little bit about the woman behind the posts. So, for starters, my name is Casey. I’m 25 years old. My mission in life is to inspire others to find their worth in Christ. With that being stated, I am a Christian. I’m saved by amazing grace and I attempt to live my life in accordance with the Lord’s will. (The key word there is ‘attempt.’ I don’t always make it.) My prayer is that I always remain moldable and teachable.
I am Jantzen’s wife. We met early in 2014 and by the end of the year, we were engaged. In 2015 I became a ‘Mrs.’ and we quickly learned marriage was not at all what we thought it would be. It was harder, but it was sweeter. Jantzen is wonderful. He is kind, compassionate, hard-working, and patient. But, most importantly, he seeks the Lord in all that he does.
I am an only child and only grandchild. (Yes, I am what some call ‘spoiled.’ However, I prefer the word ‘blessed.’) I am, and probably always will be, a daddy’s girl. My parents mean the world to me and I’m thankful for them every day. When I married Jantzen, I gained a huge family. Family has always been very important to me and it’s been a blessing to get to sit back and watch our family grow. Between in-laws, nieces, and nephews, we always have a rowdy bunch around and there is never a dull moment.
Both Jantzen and I are currently attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) pursuing different degrees. I am working on my Advanced Master of Theological Studies while Jantzen is just beginning his Master of Divinity. He recently graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies (proud wife moment).
I love a lot of things. I love the Lord. I love studying His Word. I love to write. I love Dr. Pepper. I love taking pictures with my Nikon D3200. I love coffee. I love the Nashville Predators and the Arkansas Razorbacks. I love competitive cheerleading. I love music, especially country music. I love to learn. I love cats. I love pasta and Mexican food. I love to scuba dive. I love to skydive. I love to be adventurous and outdoors. I love to cruise and talking anything Royal Caribbean. Mainly, I love to live life to its fullest and experience new things.
